Lately I received a nice package from Gestalten, one of the most exciting publishing houses when it comes to the subjects design and photography. The book inside is called Surf Odyssey and yes, the name already explains it all: it´s hard to get out of this book again. But what is it about actually?
People, that think of surfing, have something in mind like sun, beach, well tanned and well toned bodies that are floating above the water on a board. But surfing is so much more than that.
